Several chain partners recognized the potential of Spodofos. During early development, they invested in the Spodofos process to complete critical development steps in order to demonstrate its viability.
Development takes place under permit at a partner's site in the Netherlands. As the result of this cooperation, in 2023 all foreseen critical process issues were resolved successfully. Prototype components for the pilot plant have been manufactured. The pilot plant's capacity will be 100 kg sewage sludge ash per hour. Piloting will commence in 2024.
Our partners are:
Two Dutch sewage sludge processors, together managing 50% of the Dutch sewage sludge volume;
